An amazing star of the Silverscreen. I loved making this dress! A style I hadn’t made for a while which has an intricate corset inside that gives a fantastic fit and shape. Heavy weight silk crepe satin drapes beautifully over the firm structured top and flows softly into the fitted skirt. There are a few more hidden details to this dress too… Bryony couldn’t decide if she wanted shoulder draped straps or not so we made them detachable, held on by invisible tiny hooks and eyes. And the skirt is cinched in behind the knees for a dramatic silhouette but this too can be released for late night dancing!
